Senior Field Technician

Description

This senior level technician position requires small to large key system & PBX skills for the Toshiba systems. The position will help support a large customer base of Toshiba accounts plus install new systems. Application design and voice mail skills are also required. Experience in Toshiba voice mail systems and AVST voice mail systems are a plus. The senior level technician has a skill level such that any technical work can be assigned. The senior technician must have good communication skills and customer-centric work ethic. Additionally the technician must demonstrate:

  • Reliability in attendance
  • Following procedures and documenting pertinent information
  • Advising supervisors of problems or cost overruns with recommendations for resolution.
  • The ability to defuse volatile situations with upset clients

Skills

  • Proficient to Expert on the CTX and DK product lines of Toshiba
  • Proficient to Expert on two voice mail systems.
  • Proficient with data cabling installations
  • Proficient with IP Telephony and CTI applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to cutover mid to large size jobs
  • Good driving record
